The Chinese Culture Center presents changing exhibitions on Chinese and Chinese American art, history, and culture. Its gallery is small, but the focus is useful in a neighbourhood where much of the visitor experience otherwise stays at street level.
Pair it with Portsmouth Square and a walk through Chinatown. It works best as a focused cultural stop rather than as a full museum visit.
