Curran Theater

The Curran Theater is one of San Francisco's classic downtown theatres, opened in 1922 with a richly decorated interior of chandeliers, murals, and old Broadway glamour. It has long hosted major touring productions, pre-Broadway runs, and commercial theatre in the Union Square and Tenderloin theatre district.

The building is worth noticing even if you are not seeing a show, but the best reason to come is a performance. Check the current programme before planning an evening around it.
