Yerba Buena Gardens is a landscaped public space above the Moscone Convention Center, surrounded by museums, performance venues, and downtown towers. Its lawns, fountains, and Martin Luther King Jr. memorial make it one of SoMa's easiest places to pause between indoor sights.
Families get extra value here, with children's play areas and nearby kid-focused museums. For everyone else, it is a useful green break close to SFMOMA and Market Street.
