Silicon Valley's workforce is relentlessly international, and Santa Clara's restaurant scene reflects that. The stretch of El Camino Real running through the city has Vietnamese pho shops, Korean BBQ, Indian vegetarian restaurants, and Mexican taquerias within blocks of each other. Downtown around Santa Clara University has more café-style options. The city is not known for destination dining — most people drive to San Jose for that — but for everyday eating it is well-stocked.
