Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards

Family-owned hillside winery with Pinot Noir and a 1910 farmhouse

A small family-owned winery on Pierce Road in the same hills that drew Paul Masson here in the 1850s. Some of the Cabernet Franc vines on the property date to 1910, making them among the oldest producing vines in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Today's portfolio focuses on Pinot Noir and Zinfandel, sourced both from the estate and from named single-vineyard sites elsewhere in California.

The tasting room sits in a restored 1910 farmhouse next to the original vineyard. The terrace looks across the valley toward Mountain Winery on the next ridge. Tastings by appointment only on weekdays, walk-in on weekends — small enough that you usually meet the owners.

Address: 23600 Congress Springs Road, Saratoga, CA 95070.
