Kelly-Griggs House Museum

Restored Victorian mansion turned local history museum

Address 311 Washington St

A two-storey Italianate Victorian built in 1880 for one of Red Bluff's leading families, now run as a museum by the Tehama County Historical Society. The rooms have been furnished in period style, with original family pieces alongside donated furniture, costumes, and photographs of pioneer Red Bluff. Upstairs there is a small display of Wintu and other Northern California Native American artefacts.

Open afternoons Thursday through Sunday; closed Monday through Wednesday. Free admission, donations welcome. Worth half an hour or so if you have any interest in 19th-century Californian domestic architecture.
