Limbach Park

Small downtown park with a gazebo, the venue for summer concerts

Limbach Park is a one-block green space at the heart of downtown Monument, just off Second Street. A grassy lawn, a gazebo, a small playground, and a stand of mature trees — not much in any individual sense, but the social centre of the town in warm weather.

The town hosts a free summer concert series here on Wednesday evenings from mid-June through August, and the Fourth of July parade ends at the park with food trucks and a community gathering. Outside of events it is a pleasant spot to eat a picnic lunch from one of the bakeries on Second Street.
