The heart of Boynton Beach's water-based activity, this marina on the Lake Worth Lagoon side of the barrier island is where the dive charters, fishing boats, and kayak rentals all operate from. The waterfront has been developed with a mix of restaurants and small shops facing the docks. It is a pleasant place to sit in the afternoon and watch the boats come and go through the inlet.
Charter fishing boats go offshore for mahi-mahi, wahoo, sailfish, and tuna, or run inshore for snook and redfish depending on the season. Several operators offer half-day and full-day charters; the marina staff can point you toward reliable captains. Paddleboard and kayak rentals are available from the south end of the marina for exploring the flat, mangrove-edged lagoon on calmer mornings.
