Delray Public Beach is the easy ocean escape at the end of downtown Delray's restaurant and gallery strip. The beach is long and narrow, with a paved walk that is almost as good for people-watching as the sand is for swimming.
Parking is mostly on nearby streets, so arrive early in the busy season or be ready to circle for a space.
