Largo is not a resort town, but it has more to offer than its bedroom-community reputation suggests. The Florida Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village occupy a large cultural park at the southern end of the city, and several good parks are scattered across the grid of residential streets. The beaches of Clearwater and the Pinellas barrier islands are minutes away by car.
