The main draw in Tarpon Springs is the Sponge Docks area on Dodecanese Boulevard, where you can watch sponge divers unload their catch, browse waterfront shops, and eat very well at Greek-owned restaurants. Beyond that, the surrounding water and estuaries make for good kayaking — the coastline here is quiet and relatively undeveloped compared to much of Florida.
