The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, in Encore Park on Alpharetta's north side, is one of the major outdoor concert venues in the Atlanta metro area — a 12,000-capacity covered amphitheatre with a large lawn that hosts dozens of touring acts each summer. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has its summer residency here.
The setting is wooded and the acoustics are excellent. Buy a reserved seat under the cover or a cheaper lawn ticket for the typical American summer-concert experience. Local restaurants and the City Center are a short drive away for pre-show food.
