The Citizens Bank of Vidalia, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is one of the more handsome commercial buildings in downtown Vidalia. Built in the early twentieth century, it reflects the prosperity that onion farming and trade brought to the region during the city's formative years.
Worth a glance as part of a walk through the small downtown area. Vidalia's historic commercial district is compact and easily covered on foot.
