The Teton Geotourism Center is the sensible first stop in Driggs. It introduces the valley's geology, wildlife, farming, recreation, and cross-border relationship with Jackson Hole without trying to turn the place into a theme park.
Use it to pick up maps and local context before driving to trailheads or Grand Targhee. The exhibits are modest, but they help explain why the Idaho side of the Tetons has its own personality.
