The Teton Valley Museum covers the last two centuries of life on the Idaho side of the Tetons. Its exhibits focus on settlement, ranching, local families, and the valley's relationship with the mountains.
It is a modest museum, but a useful stop if you want the human history behind the scenery before driving on to Teton Canyon or Grand Targhee.
