Franklin is about 20 miles south of downtown Indianapolis via I-65 South — a straightforward 25-minute drive under normal conditions. Take the SR-44 exit east toward Franklin.
There is no passenger rail or regular bus service to Franklin. The town is only practical to visit by car. If you're flying in, Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is roughly 30 minutes away.
