The Hearst Center for the Arts is Cedar Falls' main community arts centre, with rotating exhibitions, classes, performances, and a sculpture garden. It grew from the former home and collection of poet and teacher James Hearst, whose work was closely tied to Iowa farm life.
Check the current exhibition before going. When the programming lines up, it is one of the better small-city arts stops in Iowa.
