NewBo City Market

NewBo City Market is a permanent public market in the New Bohemia neighbourhood on the east side of the Cedar River, housed in a restored industrial building. Around 30 vendors operate inside, selling produce, prepared food, coffee, crafts, and specialty goods. On weekends it fills up with a cross-section of the city.

The surrounding New Bohemia (NewBo) neighbourhood is Cedar Rapids' most walkable and characterful area, with independent restaurants, bars, and galleries along First and Second Avenues SE. It developed significantly after the 2008 floods and has become the city's most credible claim to a food and arts district.
