Salina sits at the meeting of Interstate 70 and Interstate 135, about 90 miles north of Wichita and 175 miles west of Kansas City. That makes it one of the easiest overnight stops in central Kansas.
Salina Regional Airport has limited service, so most visitors arrive by car. If you are crossing Kansas east-west, the city is a convenient break between Kansas City, Abilene, Hays, and eastern Colorado.
