Indian Rock Park gives Salina a little topography. The park protects sandstone outcrops and short trails on a bluff east of downtown, with views back over the city and the Smoky Hill River corridor.
It is best in cooler weather or near sunset. Wear shoes with grip if you plan to scramble around the rocks, and do not expect a long hike.
