General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant

Every Corvette ever made has come from this plant — the only Corvette factory in the world. Guided tours take you along the production line to watch America's sports car being assembled from scratch, from chassis to finished vehicle. The tours last about two hours and cover the stamping, body, paint, and assembly departments. Photography rules are strict (no phones on the floor) but the access is genuine — this is a working plant, not a showroom.

Tours must be booked in advance through the National Corvette Museum website and run on weekday mornings only. They sell out weeks ahead in summer, so book early. Closed on holidays and during scheduled plant shutdowns (typically in late summer).
