Not only has the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts churn out some of the most talented musicians around, it's teachers and alums are well-known around the country -- if not the world. Just a few NOCCA alums include Harry Connick Jr., Donald Harrison, Nicholas Payton, Trombone Shorty, the Marsalis Brothers, and DJ Hollygrove. NOCCA hosts free concerts regularly, so inquire within.
