The Historic Annapolis Museum is a small downtown stop run by the local preservation organisation. Its upper floors host changing exhibits on Maryland and Annapolis history, while the ground floor doubles as a shop for regional books, gifts and local goods.
It works best as a short context stop while walking between the State House, Main Street and City Dock. Do not expect a large museum, but the exhibits can add useful background to the colonial streets around it.
