Worcester is 45 miles west of Boston and easy to reach by car, train, or bus.
By car, the city sits at the junction of the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90), I-290, and I-190 — a one-hour drive from Boston, two and a half hours from New York, two hours from Hartford.
By train, the MBTA Commuter Rail runs from Boston's South Station to Worcester's Union Station, taking about 90 minutes; Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited stops here on its New York–Chicago route.
By bus, Peter Pan and Greyhound both run frequent buses to and from Boston and New York from Union Station.
By air, Worcester Regional Airport has a small handful of commercial flights, but most travellers fly into Boston Logan and continue by train or car.
