The single-lane wooden covered bridge across the Cass River is one of Frankenmuth's most photographed structures. Built in 1980 to a traditional design, it is functional rather than historic — but at 239 feet long it is the longest pedestrian-and-vehicle covered bridge in Michigan and a focal point of the town's main pedestrian area.
Walk it for the river views and the small park on the far bank. The carriage rides depart from the eastern end.
