Rake Beer Project is a smaller and more experimental operation than Pigeon Hill, with a focus on Belgian-influenced and farmhouse styles — saisons, witbiers, and mixed-fermentation ales that you will not find at the bigger breweries. The taproom is cozy and the pours are thoughtful. A good option if you want something beyond the standard IPA-and-lager circuit.
The rotation changes frequently and the staff know their beer well. Worth stopping in if you have already done the bigger taprooms and want to dig deeper into what the local scene is producing.
