Eating Out

Muskegon's restaurant scene is anchored in its lake setting — perch, whitefish, and walleye show up on most menus, and the city's craft brewery culture has pulled good food along with it. Downtown has improved considerably in recent years, with a cluster of decent restaurants and brewpubs around Western Avenue. The waterfront and the Lakeside neighbourhood also have a few reliable spots.
