The Lake House sits on the water's edge with good views over Muskegon Lake and a relaxed outdoor deck that fills up on summer evenings. It is primarily a bar with food rather than a restaurant — cold beer, cocktails, and a menu of burgers, baskets, and bar snacks. The setting does most of the work.
Best visited late afternoon or early evening when the light on the lake is good and the atmosphere is at its most convivial. Not remarkable for the food, but an easy and pleasant place to watch the water and have a cold drink after a day outdoors.
