A long-running independent coffee shop on North State Street, in Fondren. Sneaky Beans does proper espresso, a deep tea menu, and weekend brunch with eggs and breakfast burritos. The space has the look of a converted living room — sofas, mismatched chairs, local art on the walls.
It is also a venue: open mic nights, occasional acoustic shows, and Fondren After Five gatherings. The obvious morning stop in the neighbourhood.
