Snowden Grove Park

Snowden Grove is Southaven's flagship park: a sprawling complex of seventeen baseball and softball diamonds, an amphitheatre, a splash pad, and miles of paved trails for walking and cycling. It hosts dozens of regional youth tournaments through the spring and summer, and on a busy Saturday it feels like the entire DeSoto County population is out somewhere on these fields.

Outside tournament weekends the park is a pleasant place to walk off a Memphis barbecue dinner, and the amphitheatre runs a free summer concert series that draws a friendly local crowd. The Snowden Grove Water Tower next to the diamonds is a minor city landmark and one of the more photographed objects in Southaven.
