AREA15 sits just west of the Strip on Rancho Drive and is the closest thing Las Vegas has to a permanent immersive-art neighbourhood. Inside the warehouse-sized complex you will find Omega Mart by Meow Wolf — a fake supermarket that hides portals into a sprawling psychedelic narrative — plus a zip line, axe-throwing range, virtual-reality experiences, a flotation tank, and several themed bars.
The exterior plaza features rotating large-scale art including a 40-foot praying mantis that shoots fire from its antennae at scheduled times. It is genuinely strange, and the kind of place that rewards a couple of hours of wandering rather than a quick photo. Tickets are sold individually for each attraction, with Omega Mart being the must-do if you only pick one.
