A Toms River institution that has been feeding the Ocean County faithful since 1969. Steaks Unlimited is exactly what the name promises — a no-frills, unapologetically old-school steakhouse where the portions are enormous and the prices have not quite caught up with inflation in the way they have elsewhere. The cheesesteaks and the burgers are local favourites, but the namesake steaks are the reason to come. Expect a crowd on weekends and no reservation system.
