Pajarito Environmental Education Center is a small nature center focused on the Pajarito Plateau. Exhibits cover local wildlife, fossils, energy, gardens, and the surrounding trail system, with volunteers and locally focused books helping visitors understand the landscape around Los Alamos.
Trails lead from the center toward the canyon behind it, so it works well as a family-friendly introduction before a longer walk nearby.
