Secret Caverns is the smaller, quirkier neighbour of Howe Caverns, with a guided underground tour that ends at a 100-foot waterfall. The tone is deliberately odd, from the roadside art to the guide patter, which makes it feel less polished and more memorable.
It is best treated as a Mohawk Valley road-trip stop rather than a full destination. The tour takes about 45 minutes and works well if you like caves but want something looser than the region's bigger commercial show cave.
