Mint Museum Randolph occupies the old Charlotte Mint building and is the more traditional counterpart to Mint Museum Uptown. Its strengths include American art, ceramics, decorative arts, and travelling exhibitions.
It is not the one museum you must see on a short Charlotte visit, but it is a good stop if you have a special interest in art or are already exploring the leafy Myers Park side of town.
