Columbus is served by John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), about 10 miles east of downtown. It is a mid-size regional hub with direct flights to major US cities and a few international routes. A taxi or rideshare from the airport to downtown takes about 20–25 minutes; there is no direct rail connection to downtown.
By car, Columbus sits at the intersection of I-70 (east-west) and I-71 (northeast-southwest), making it an easy drive from Cleveland (2.5 hours north), Cincinnati (2 hours southwest), Pittsburgh (2.5 hours east), and Indianapolis (3 hours west). Greyhound and Megabus both serve Columbus from most major Midwest cities if you prefer not to drive.
