The Ohio History Center gives a solid overview of the state's past — Native American civilizations with mound-builder diagrams and artifacts, natural history exhibits, and a timeline from statehood to the 1970s. Outside, a recreation of a typical 19th-century Ohio village square is worth a walk-around. Good interactive exhibits for kids.
