Getting There

Delaware is about 25 miles north of Columbus on US Route 23, roughly a 30-minute drive depending on traffic. From Columbus, take I-270 north to US-23 north; the highway runs straight into downtown.

There is no regular passenger rail service to Delaware. Greyhound and other intercity bus operators do not serve the town directly — Columbus is the nearest hub for long-distance bus travel.

Delaware Municipal Airport (DLZ) is a small general aviation facility on the southwest edge of the city. It handles private and charter flights but no scheduled commercial service. For commercial flights, Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) in Columbus is the practical option, about 35 miles south.
