Getting There

By car: Sandusky sits directly on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90), about 60 miles west of Cleveland and 100 miles east of Toledo. Most visitors arrive by car; Cedar Point has enormous parking lots at the entrance.

By air: Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE) is the closest major airport, about 90 minutes east. Detroit Metro (DTW) is around 100 minutes northwest, and Toledo Express (TOL) is closer but offers fewer flights.

By train: Amtrak's Capitol Limited and Lake Shore Limited both stop at Sandusky station, with overnight service between Chicago and Washington/New York. The station is south of downtown.

By boat: Sandusky is one of the busiest pleasure-boat harbours on the Great Lakes, and visiting boaters tie up at Battery Park, Cedar Point Marina, or the Jackson Street Pier area.
