Cedar Point is the headline — one of the world's great roller-coaster parks and a destination for coaster enthusiasts from around the planet. But the wider Sandusky waterfront, the Lake Erie Islands, the Merry-Go-Round Museum, and a handful of historic buildings give the city more depth than the day-trip view suggests. Add it together and Sandusky is good for two or three days, especially in summer when the lake is warm and the islands are open.
