By car, Ada sits at the junction of US Highway 177 and State Highway 3. From Oklahoma City, take I-35 south to Pauls Valley, then US-177 east — about 90 minutes. From Dallas, take US-75 north to Atoka and then State Highway 3 west — around two hours depending on traffic through the northern Dallas suburbs.
By bus, Greyhound and regional carriers provide limited service to Ada, with connections through Oklahoma City and Dallas. The schedule is infrequent and journey times are long; a car is strongly recommended for this part of Oklahoma.
