The American Legion Hut is a small but distinctive piece of Edmond's civic history. Built for veterans' gatherings, it belongs to the era when towns across Oklahoma created permanent spaces for clubs, lodges, and postwar community life.
It is most interesting if you like local architecture and old civic buildings. Look for it while walking the central part of town; it will not fill much time, but it adds texture.
