Tuttle Roundup

The Tuttle Roundup is the town's signature annual event, held each summer and drawing people from across Grady County and the wider Oklahoma City metro. It combines a rodeo, a parade down Main Street, live music, and the general atmosphere of a community gathering that has changed little in character over the years.

The rodeo itself features standard events — barrel racing, bull riding, team roping — with a mix of local and regional competitors. The parade is the kind of small-town affair that brings out the whole community: floats, horses, fire trucks, and high school bands. For visitors, the Roundup is one of the more accessible ways to see authentic small-town Oklahoma culture without driving deep into the countryside.

A story
The Roundup has been the centerpiece of Tuttle's summer calendar for decades — a rare chance to see a traditional Oklahoma small-town rodeo where the competitors are often local, not professional circuit riders.
