Tuttle

Central Oklahoma town southwest of Oklahoma City, where ranch country meets a commuter community

Tuttle is a small but fast-growing town southwest of Oklahoma City, sitting along State Highway 37 in Grady County. Once a quiet farming community, it has become a bedroom community for people working in the metro area, though it still has the feel of a small Oklahoma town with wide streets and open sky.

The town is close enough to Oklahoma City for an easy commute but far enough out that you are quickly in ranch country. The surrounding landscape is flat to gently rolling grassland, typical of central Oklahoma. Tuttle does not have major tourist attractions, but it offers a quiet base and easy access to the city. The annual Tuttle Roundup each summer features a rodeo, parade, and the kind of community gathering that defines small-town Oklahoma.

Things to Do

Tuttle is not a sightseeing destination. The draw is the quiet, the open sky, and easy access to Oklahoma City fifteen minutes up the highway. That said, the community has a genuine annual moment worth catching if you happen to be passing through in summer.
