Cannon Beach's appeal is built around the beach itself, Haystack Rock, and the hiking in Ecola State Park to the north. The town is small and walkable, with the beach always within easy reach. Tide pools around Haystack Rock are excellent at low tide, and the cliff trails above the beach offer some of the best coastal views on the Oregon coast.
