Dorney Park is Allentown's big family attraction, an amusement park with roller coasters, water rides, and the kind of all-day summer energy that can exhaust children and adults in equal measure. It is the reason many travelers know the city at all.
Check the operating calendar before you go, as hours are seasonal. If you are visiting in high summer, arrive early and treat the park as the day rather than something to squeeze between museums.
