Erie Art Museum

The Erie Art Museum occupies a Greek Revival building on the north side of Perry Square in downtown Erie. Its collection focuses on American art with particular strengths in photography and contemporary works, alongside a solid permanent collection spanning Asian ceramics and Indian miniature paintings from the early collections.

The museum hosts rotating exhibitions and an active programme of events and art classes. It is modest in scale but well-curated, and the permanent collection is worth an hour. Admission is free on the first Wednesday of each month.
