The free factory ride takes you through the chocolate-making process from cacao bean to finished bar, ending with a free sample. Beyond the ride there are paid experiences — chocolate tastings, create-your-own candy bar, a 4D movie — but the ride itself is worth stopping for even if you skip everything else. Located next to Hersheypark.

A story
The original Hershey factory tours became so popular by the 1970s that visitors were disrupting production. Chocolate World opened in 1973 as a purpose-built replacement — a simulated tour that could handle unlimited visitors without slowing down the actual chocolate line.
