ZooAmerica is an 11-acre wildlife park dedicated entirely to animals from North America, divided into five regional habitats: the Big Sky Country of the West, the Cactus Community of the American Southwest, the Pocono Woodlands of the East, the Wetlands, and the Northlands. More than 200 animals representing around 65 species live here, from bald eagles and black bears to alligators and timber wolves.
The park is physically adjacent to Hersheypark and is included with amusement park admission, though it also has its own separate entrance and lower-priced standalone tickets. It's a good option if you're not up for a full Hersheypark day — especially with younger children who may find the smaller scale less overwhelming than the main park.
