Bowman's Hill Tower stands south of New Hope in Washington Crossing Historic Park, rising above the trees for one of the broadest views in Bucks County. On a clear day you get the Delaware River valley, farms, woodland, and the low folds of New Jersey beyond.
It is worth the short drive from town, especially in autumn. Pair it with a walk in the nearby wildflower preserve or the historic crossing sites if you want a more substantial half-day.
